Okay, the majority of Vai requests have been for this song. Although I
must disagree with those who think that this and «Touching Tongues» are the
best songs on the album; what about «Sex & Religion» or «Survive»? Those
songs kick ass!
I didn’t tab «Touching Tongues» because the rhythm track requires a 7-
string guitar, and the lead requires delay and a WHAMMY pedal. I don’t
think the average guitarist has those things handy. 🙂
Anyway, all you need for this song is an acoustic guitar, an eletric
guitar, and a hell of a lot of patience! Some of the chords are a pain in
the ass (or should I say fingers?).
Some notes on the way I do ascii tab: «p» — pull-off
«h» — hammer-on
«v»s in front of a chord — upstroke
«nh» — natural harmonic
