    intro:
Do I have to get naked for you people to remember my name?
    It's Lynn From Snot

    Pushing the law again
    Pushing the law again
    Pushing the law again

    Justice with a sword
    a smiling knight on board

    Opening his heart to everyone
    and loving without a doubt
    embrashing friends and embarassing foes
    and those who are unjust
A man true to his heart
without fear of misgivings with insecurities
    tattooed across his body
the first to accept, the last to disappoint
he understood all, and expected nothing

    Now you are free
free to roam in the skys
    now and then visit me
    with your starlit eyes
    NOW

    Pushing the law again
    Pushing the law again
    Pushing the law again

    Justice with a sword
    a smiling knight on board

You took all our hearts with you smile
    and left a legacy untold
You conquered life and fear so you see
there was no room for you to grow old

    Now you are free
free to roam in the skys
    no and then visit me
    with your starlit eyes

    Now you are free
free to roam in the skys
    no and then visit me
    with your starlit eyes

    Pushing the law again
    PUSHING THE LAW AGAIN

It's so fucked I am here doing this
it's bullshit, things don't end like this

    I'm calling
    Staring into the place
    Where I cease to exist
    wondering why do,
Things always end up like this

    Fly
take to the sky another dream
    of empty
    Lies
of promises denied by a forgiving
    you fuckin'
    Fraud
my belief was betrayed I lost my
    faith in you
    Try
to understand the sorrow and the
    Why
of a light that should still be burning
    Bright
the angel in flight with a dog by his
    Side
when you took him away I lost my faith
    in even you!

It's so fucked I am here doing this
it's bullshit, things don't end like this

    I'm calling
    Staring into the place
    Where I cease to exist
    wondering why do,
Things always end up like this

    Fly

    Bright
the angel in flight with a dog by his
    Side
when you took him away I lost my faith
    in even you!

As I feel emptiness growing in my heart
I can't help but scream at you hating you
I bet you think it's funny
You give us a gift and then you take it back

    Fly
take to the sky another dream
    of empty
    Lies
of promises denied by a forgiving
    you fuckin'
    Fraud

    05. Until Next Time
Featuring Jason Sears of RKL (Rich Kids on LSD)
    Lyrics written by Jason Sears
Music Writen by Lynn Strait/Mikey Doling/Tumor Fahnestock
Produced by Mikey Doling/Tumor Fahnestock and Jim Wirt
    Engineered by Jim Wirt
    Guitars: Mikey Doling
    Bass: Tumor Fahnestock
    Drums: Shannon Larkin

As I sit here all alone and wondering why now once again
all the others weren't enought you had to take another friend
now once again to soon i search for words that just aren't there
I give to you my feelings in a song and with a tear
Somehow close yet still so far
I hold you here deep in my heart
I hope and pray these words you'll hear
that your at peace and free from fear
the question asked full in my rage how could you make this end
just seems so wrong that in his frime you'd go and take my friend
if goodness comes from tragedy then let this be the case
so only thoughs of joy are thought each time we see your face

Why did you have to know
I hope it's not in vain
Cause there has to be a reason
or some goodness in my pain
    Passion churning sensess bluring
all the things you taught we learned
some things in life we'll never know
like how much time we're left to go

    never fair or justified
sad alone I sat and cried
of all the questions we must ask
Not when, where, who but why so fast?
Now looking back I see the day our eyes they first did meet
an alligator shirt some jeans and docks upon his feet
with out stretched arms we said hello his face a welcome grin
You wanna go and spark a bowl nice to meet you my names lynn
a battle forges on but it just don't seem the same
cause I'm gonna win this battle and I'll do it in your name
I say goodbye to you my friend I did a fond farewell
at least your up in heaven now not stuck here in this HELL!!

On with the show we have to go
My thoughts they have been spoken
you touched our lives gave others
hope and now our hearts are broken
of all that come and all that go
there's few that have the spark
the strength the joy, the energy
    to truely fill our hearts
of whom I speak I sing these words
    and give this final hymn
I say it loud with love and pride and shout
    I LOVE YOU LYNN!!!

Then someone looked up to the sky
look there's Lynn he said and off you flew
with dobbs by your side I know then you weren't dead
you just changed shapes free as a
bird to soar the skys above and so we turned
and waved goodbye as sadness turned to love

You are divided for now for now
You are divided for now for now
    You are divided

    I have a wish
    I want to learn
    I wish to see
    and I want to affirm...
That what I see in reflection day to day
    isn't all I am
Say what you see when you close your eyes and glide
the only shell to circumvent the tide
shares of himself and tells us what he
knows, a peice of him will stay...
    when the rest of him...
    GOES...

    For now you are divided
    You are divided for now
You are divided for now for now
    You are divided

    I have a wish
    I want to learn
    I wish to see
    and I want to affirm...
    That what is here
    Broken record everyday...
    isn't all there is
Say what you see when you close your eyes and glide
the only shell to circumvent the tide
shares of himself and tells us what he knows
a piece of him will stay...
The piece of him that stays...
    Helps me grow.

    The piece of you
    that makes you you
That piece of you stays (you are divided)

    That piece of you
    that makes you you
    that parts changed

Your only divided (Your only Divided)
    Your only divided
    The peice of you
    that makes you you
    Don't be afraid

    Fever take the mind unkind
    Seasons watching the souls unwind
    Many friends left far behind
    Souls left lonesome

Dark the essence of life's core
Like light in the forever more
No one's left to deserve it more
    and I'm left borrowed...

    Between nights and funeral flights
We are one the Father and the Son

    Between nights and funeral flights
We are one the Father and the Son

I was there for the eulogy
Seems a part was just stripped from me
Everyone's eyes were so far away
You were with us on that day
    Feared in Life
    Revered in DEATH!!!

    Between nights and funeral flights
We are one the Father and the Son

    Between nights and funeral flights
We are one the Father and the Son

    Fever take the mind unkind
    Seasons watching the souls unwind
    Many friends left far behind
    Souls left lonesome

    We were ready for anything

    Everyone has some pain
I see the loss every time someone says your name
When you know someone who shines hard
A soul of the age who doesn't care
    who the fuck you are
You had a friend, a brother who was everything
but he had to go away...that was yesterday
I've lost a lot of people in my time
the good, the bad, the unreal,
    and the ones who shine
So I know you all understand
When I say that until they left
    We were ready for anything
    We were ready for anything
We were ready for anything...but this

    You are not gone
We keep you here inside us
    You are not gone
We know you're still beside us
    You are not gone
We have the light you gave to us

Now it's time to lay to rest our friend
    and through these songs
His memory will never fucking end
    We still see that
Through this we'll shed some light on you
Until the day you left us

    We were ready for anything
    We were ready for anything
We were ready for anything...but this

    You are not gone
We keep you here inside us
    You are not gone
We know you're still beside us
    You are not gone
We have the light you gave to us

Why'd you have to go? We never had a chance
    I can't believe it so I won't admit it
Life ain't shit without you in it

    You are not gone
We keep you here inside us
    You are not gone
We know you're still beside us
    You are not gone
We have the light you gave to us

Everybody says the light that shines the brightest
    burns out fast
But what they never say is
all the light they gave us lasts
We hold the memories and cherish
    everyday we had
But we would give it up in a second
    just to have you
    BACK!!!

    I want to be
    Something better then before
    You showed me what
We should all be fighting for
    Can you tell me
Why I always see your face?
You are kind of like a
    Supernatural kind of place

    Reaching Out, Reaching out
    You are the one
    Consciousness you're killing me
    I underdtand the clarity

    Now I can see
How you touched so many lives
    You're on your way
    to another space and time
    I can feel you
every time I see your face
You are kind of like a
    Supernatural Kind of Place

    Reaching Out, Reaching out
    You are the one
    Consciousness you're killing me
    I underdtand the clarity

Your light shines for us to see
a part of you lives on in me
Your light shines for us to see (for us to see)
a part of you lives on in me (on in me)
    We are the same
    Follow through reality
    It's coming down...forget about
    Typical just what it seems
    Another day inside the dream

So here it comes consuming me

    13. Absent

Well now it seems more then silence
    has been broken
And I think I figured out the dying lie
Yes the truth is that your dialect is half true
    Another conversation died alone

    This is something we created
    Yes my sufferment's
It doesn't have to be a prophecy
We could be both seeking destiny

It's fucking down to us and them
you can decide which on wins
But the time, are you the hunter or the hunted?

    ABSENT (sent)
Sometimes it feels like it's us against them
    ABSENT (sent)
Sometimes it feels like they're angers are justified
and It feels like I'm absent...from your conversation
Just keep on talkin' and you'll sure find out...
    you're probably right

Now it seems that there are no easy answers
to the same old questions I've imposed
What does it mean, why would you
    bother asking me?
Like it's something I should know

Just cause they payed me to take it
I guess the money gave me credence
    Watch our records sore
as you slow down to buy the accident - So Sick

    ABSENT (sent)
Sometimes it feels like it's us against them
    ABSENT (sent)
Sometimes it feels like they're angers are justified
and It feels like I'm absent...from your conversation
Just keep on talkin' and you'll sure find out...
    you're probably right

Know that I'll pull your covers bitch
Yes I'm fixin to knock that ego down
Well I might slap your punk ass to the floor
    Stupid mother fucker
Nothing but a buster still talkin' shit

Devoid of soul, you dig yourself a hole
Take the fun out, I load the gun for you
Incorrect, cause and effect, you've been sold
Live with the wrong, so ya live in the lies
Take the fun, load the gun, incorrect,
    cause and effect

    ABSENT (sent)
Sometimes it feels like it's us against them
    ABSENT (sent)
Sometimes it feels like they're angers are justified
and It feels like I'm absent...from your conversation
Just keep on talkin' and you'll sure find out...
    you're probably right

    Yes, Yes your probably right
Don't, don't you know your probably right
    Yes, Yes your probably right
Don't, Don't you know your probably right
    Yes, Yes your probably right

    AAAAHHHHH!!

that was featured in the Winter 97/98 issue
    of Shock to the System

    Shock to the System:
Like you were saying with your tattoos before,
your songs pertain to addictions and stuff
especially your addictions. Do you still have
    any addictions even silly ones?

    Lynn Strait:
Yeah, I mean I'm addicted period. And it's
weird cause so much of the population is
addicted or compulsive about stuff. I'm
really compulsive about shit. I even get -
when I can't fix my head with a certain
drug or whatever, I'll clean something up.
I get really fuckin' fidgety and uncomfortable
and I fly off the handle easy. If I'm not
gorging myself on one thing. I'm trying to
fill that hole some other way. It's always
this great feeling of need and it doesn't
have to be of anything in perticular, it's
just something that you don't know what it
is and that drives you that much more insane.
That's what a lot of the people today suffer
from and a lot of people don't even realize it.
I don't profess to know everything about it. I
know that there's that hole that needs to be
filled and a lot of people die trying (to fill it).
