I%d like to add another version of the guitar solo of «One Of Us».
IMHO, it%s a rather complete transcription. I posted it, %cause I think
that the previous tabs are incomplete as for some bars.
Hints: The solo is played by using the standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning with a
warm fuzz sound. For each bar there%s the time measure noticed, so it%s
more convenient to figure out the timing. Mainly the solo consists of eighth
notes with some sixteenth added. It%s rather easy to play, once you have
understood the phrasing of the melody. The only difficulty appears in bar 13,
where I remarked «hold bend». This bar holds a kind of playing technique
that is often used in country rock. I call it «double stop bending». To play
it correctly, put the first finger (left hand) on the 14th fret of the B-string
and the third finger on the 16th fret G-string and immediately bend up
to the 18th fret G-string. The following C sharp notes are played
while holding the bend. Same with the following combination.
